I am a human being, father, neighbor, permaculture practitioner, democracy practitioner, social systems philosopher, community organizer, writer, cooperative entrepreneur, future farmer, sailor, and lifelong booklover!
I have been a community organizer for 30 years. I have dedicated my life to deep, deep systemic change via grassroots democracy. It is long since past time for we, the people, to design and build an economic & cultural infrastructure which puts human development and sustainability first!
Based in Portland, Maine, we are very fortunate to have many excellent small independent bookshops. It is well worth a trip to Portland for the bookshops, alone! I am proud to be a part of the online bookshop community which I believe reperesents an excellent use of technology to empower both individual booklovers and small local independent bookshops.
